“I truthfully have never connected with someone as quickly as I connected with Cara. She is the most genuine, warm-hearted, creative human. She became an instant best friend. Cara’s photography speaks for itself, it is clear she is talented. Most importantly however, Cara creates from her soul; her work is thoughtful down to every single detail and her passion is apparent from the very second you meet her. I could not recommend her more highly.”

"When you forego a wedding and elope, you carefully and intentionally choose a photographer that will preserve the memories, but also give your loved ones a feeling that they were there. Cara, we knew you were exceptionally talented, but you have far exceeded our expectations… as an artist and photographer, and as a human being. You are beautiful inside and out, a true inspiration, and we love that you will forever be a part of our memories. After all, you solemnized our marriage (double props)! The night before our ceremony, we sat on the floor and talked about our roots. She was describing how her dad is a gifted writer. I expressed how much I admire anyone who cultivates the ability to capture the human condition accurately and vividly. It clearly runs in her blood; this is what she does with her photography. She created the space for us to be ourselves. Her enthusiasm for us, recognition of our love, curiosity about our bond, her intuition and capacity to predict our needs, and her ability to just observe and tell our story in the way we hoped it would be captured is the greatest gift. To be seen – it is one of the most beautiful parts of being loved. Thank you Cara, for seeing us so clearly. Future brides and grooms, I urge you to critically consider the artist you are supporting when you hire your photographer. It is an honor for us to have had Cara capture our day, but also to support someone who is an advocate at heart and chooses to use her voice and vision to shed light on things like equality, conservation, diversity, and educating growing artists to embrace these values as they develop a platform. She does this with such grace and humility and we are so fortunate to better know her soul through this experience. Best. Third. Wheel. Ever. 🤍 P.S… She’s also hella fun and down for any adventure ;)"

"When Cara continued to shoot when the sun had gone down I was blown away by her ability to work with such light. I find it unique and welcome full-heartedly that she has solid ideas which she wants to create as well as incorporating our ideas. She directs with an open mind, allowing us to move authentically. With an eye for when to capture raw moments, she has such trust in the process and her photos reflect that. We both left feeling filled, awaiting our next time with Cara again <3. Beyond just her photography Cara is a beautiful human being. Kind and so very thoughtful. I appreciate her and the love she brings.”

“My favorite photography shoots have been with Cara. She’s so intuitive to details and her clients’ personal comfort and style. I always felt so comfortable shooting with her because she catered to our personal styles and is a completely genuine human being. A concern I’ve often had while working with photographers is their inclusivity and eye while photographing and editing darker skin tones. Often photographers who aren’t aware that one filter doesn’t fit all tend to make dark skin tones ashy, cold or give them too much contrast—to the point where I can’t see my husband’s face! She made us vibrant and warm in photos and constantly asked questions to make sure we loved the photos. She’s one of the most talented photographers I’ve worked with and turns photographs into literal works of art. She’s the type of person to research and learn for herself, and constantly sees beauty and value in photographing different ethnicities—but not because it's a trend. Which is rare to find, especially in Utah. Thanks for making our experiences so enjoyable and capturing our essence❤️ If you’re deciding on a photographer, book her!”

“Cara goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable the entire shoot. We never felt awkward or insecure! I have worked with multiple photographers, but few have made me laugh as hard as Cara or created as great of conversations. She kept the mood light-hearted and fun. I’ll definitely keep coming back to her!”

“When I received the photos I started crying! We were both so excited over how amazing they came out! I can't stop sharing them with friends and family and the compliments keep pouring in. On top of being an amazing photographer and artist (who can recommend the most beautiful places in Utah to shoot your photos!), Cara was SO much fun to work with! She has a very outgoing and adventurous personality and will do literally anything to get the perfect shot! She makes you feel extremely comfortable and easily gets you to laugh and loosen up. We loved every minute of our shoot with Cara and could not recommend her enough!”

“Best experience, hands down! When first meeting Cara, she instantly makes you feel like you have known each other forever. She battled flash floods and mudslides for us, and still managed to give us the most amazing photos!!! She’s there for you the whole time and best part of all, we didn’t have to wait long at all to have our elopement memories back. Thank you so much Cara, you’re the best!”

“Some of the locations in Iceland we shot at were super cold, rainy, windy and Cara was always super stoked to get out there and get some awesome shots no matter what the conditions were. We really loved her in-the-moment style of photography vs. posed. Her natural editing style vs unrealistic colors and contrast. Her way of capturing the landscape as well as the people and their personalities. Plus she's super fun and easy-going. Great photographer to capture an adventure abroad.”
